Bilateral septic arthritis of the knee secondary to group G streptococcal endocarditis

We report on an 81-year-old male with bilateral septic arthritis of the knee joints, who was treated with multiple joint washouts and intravenous antibiotics. As far as we know, there has been no case report in the English literature, on bilateral septic arthritis of the knee secondary to group G b-haemolytic streptococcal endocarditis.
